Revenue Development Program

How it works

We place you in a program track that has the most immediate revenue opportunity. Each cohort is composed of publishers who will benefit from working with one another. And it’s free, thanks to support from the Knight-funded Lenfest Local News Infrastructure Fund.

Those three program tracks are:

Advertising and sponsorships: Optimize advertising and sponsorship opportunities. 

Newsletters: Boost subscriber growth and monetization.

Reader revenue: Generate direct revenue using reader revenue models such as memberships, subscriptions, and paywalls. 

Expert coaching and support

We work with you to identify growth opportunities and develop a customized plan with clear steps you can implement immediately.

The program kicks off with a six-session sprint, where each cohort works with a team of coaches and Newspack product experts, including specialists from Blue Engine Collaborative and other seasoned professionals. These experts have collectively helped hundreds of publications enhance their revenue strategies.

Following the sprint, the program continues with ongoing support for a full year. You’ll receive actionable insights and continuous guidance to achieve measurable results, with a collaborative approach providing practical takeaways for long-term success.
