Join the Bittersweet Brigade!
We are looking for volunteers to join our weekly invasive workday. These workdays take place every Wednesday from 9:00-11:00am at Coastal Rivers’ Round Top Farm during the summer and fall.
Not only will your participation help protect native species and ecosystems, but you can expect to become familiar and able to identify many invasive species including bittersweet, multiflora rose, barberry, and more. You will also learn the best techniques in fighting against invasives including herbicide dabbing.
As with all Coastal Rivers workdays, safety is our highest priority. Please bring water, work gloves, and sturdy shoes. We will provide all necessary tools and materials, but feel free to bring your favorite pair of loppers or pruners!
