Come join the Trail Tamers!

We are looking for volunteers to join us on Thursday, July 31st from 1:00 to 3:00pm for our monthly Trail Tamers workday. This month we will be cutting a new trail corridor at the Sarah Weston Kent Preserve, one of our more recently acquired properties, located in Bremen and right across from Pemaquid Pond Preserve. This work will include hiking approximately 1/2 mile through newly cut trail corridor and then using loppers and handsaws to continue clearing the corridor.

We will meet at the Pemaquid Pond Preserve parking lot, located at 425 Turner Rd in Bremen. Parking lot space is very limited. If full, we will direct you farther down the road where additional space is available.

***If you are able, carpooling will leave Round Top Farm at 12:45pm***

As with all Coastal Rivers workdays, safety is the top priority. Please bring water, work gloves, and sturdy footwear; we will provide all necessary tools, but feel free to bring your favorite pair of loppers or hand saw.

For more information, contact Bell Moroney at [email protected]
