EA has announced it'll be hosting a number of beta tests for Battlefield 6 in the lead-up to launch, allowing you to try the new FPS before release in October. This guide is designed to cover everything relating to the beta, such as all Battlefield 6 beta start times and how to get early access to the Battlefield 6 beta.

Battlefield 6 Beta: All Start Times

The Battlefield 6 beta is taking place over the course of three stages, two of which shall be open for everyone to play no matter whether they have a code or not. Pre-Load will be available from 4th August, and you can play the beta on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, EA App).

The Battlefield 6 beta is available on the following days:

Early Access: 7th — 8th August
Weekend 1: 9th — 10th August
Weekend 2: 14th — 17th August

We'll update this article as we progress through the beta stages. The early access period of the Battlefield 6 beta starts at (your local time is displayed at the bottom):

North America: 1am PDT / 2am MDT / 3am CDT / 4am EDT
UK/Ire: 9am BST
Europe: 10am CEST / 11am EEST
Asia/Oceania: 5pm JST / 4pm AWST / 6pm AEST

Battlefield 6 Beta: How to Get Early Access

Update (1st August 13:00 BST):

As the Battlefield 6 reveal event has now ended, there are unfortunatwly no more Twitch Drops available to get an early access beta code from. If you didn't participate in Battlefield Labs before the reveal event, then there aren't any other ways to get a code. You'll have to wait until Weekend 1 on 9th August to play, unless EA does a code giveaway in the coming days.

In order to get a Battlefield 6 beta early access code, you must have either taken part in Battlefield Labs before today's reveal or watch Twitch streamers to get a code through a Twitch Drop. Therefore, your options are:

All participants in Battlefield Labs from before today (31st July) get early access to the beta
Watch currently live Twitch streamers to get an early access code in a Twitch Drop

If you're coming to this page after the Battlefield 6 reveal event and there are no more Twitch Drops left, you'll unfortunately have to wait for the two weekends of full access. You can't get an early access beta code through the Phantom Edition. Unless EA does some sort of code giveaway, you're out of luck getting one.

Battlefield 6 Beta: What's Included in the Beta

During the three stages of the Battlefield 6 beta, you'll have access to 4 modes across 4 maps.

The modes on offer are:

Conquest
Breakthrough
Squad Deathmatch
Domination

The maps available are:

Siege of Cairo
Liberation Peak
Iberian Offensive
Empire State

Battlefield 6 Beta: All Rewards

For taking part in the Battlefield 6 beta across the two main weekends, you'll earn a variety of items and skins for the full game.

Play the Battlefield 6 beta during Weekend 1 (9th-10th August) to get the following:

Seeker Soldier Skin
All Terrain Soldier Skin
Dominion Weapon Package
Lights Out Player Card Background
And more!

Play the Battlefield 6 beta during Weekend 2 (14th-17th August) to get the following:

War Machine Vehicle Skin
Bat Company Dog Tag
Striking Distance Weapon Package

I look forward to trying it out! I didn’t watch the live stream but does anyone know what the max player count in a game is? Did they reduce it back down to 64?

@Kiefer-Sutherland I really hope they've reduced it back to 64. I thought I wanted 128 but it just ended up being too chaotic, or too many spaces filled with bots.

Wont bother with the beta. Will just wait for the release and reviews/performance to drop. It looked a little too frantic for my liking during the live stream. Not many players were alive after 20 seconds of swapping to their screens.

I want this to be good so bad, I miss that pure adrenaline dump that the last BF game BF1 gave me BF5 was serviceable and 2042 was so dang terrible and I'm starving for a good mp FPS

I really wish CoD flops this year and BF win it over in sells and player count; so sick of that paid weapons and crazy skins in call of duty

Not another penny from me, they can't be bothered to tackle cheating then I can't be bothered to give them money
BF is one of those games I only play on PC so cheating is at its highest purely based on platform

So I had to watch some streamer play the game to have a chance at beta? That's silly. There's a good chunk of players, particularly older players who have zero interest in ever watching Twitch.

And maybe someday an extraction mode will be added? One can dream
Already got my invitation for the early beta but almost zero interest with "spawn, dead, spawn, dead, spawn, kill, dead"
