The MMA offers a variety of group and individual membership opportunities. Please consider joining today!
Membership Type | Description | Annual Dues |
---|---|---|
New Member | The MMA offers a reduced rate for MDs and DOs in their first year of membership (either new MMA members or those transitioning from residency). | $250 |
Regular MD Member | Regular MD members are those who are actively practicing. | $450 |
Regular DO Member | Regular DO members are those who are actively practicing. Based on membership in the Maine Osteopathic Association, the MMA allows a reduced membership rate. | $260 |
Part-Time Member | Part-time members are those who work 20 hours or less weekly. | $260 |
Federal and State Government Employed | For any MD or DO employed by the federal or state government, the MMA offers a reduced membership rate. | $250 |
Senior/Retired | Senior members are those who have retired from active practice. They are exempt from membership dues but retain all membership rights and privileges. | Exempt |
Residents | Resident members are those who are currently enrolled in a residency program. They are exempt from membership dues. If interested, the MMA will subsidize enrollment in the AMA for 1-3 years. | Exempt |
Students | Student members are those who are actively enrolled in a medical school. They are exempt from membership dues. If interested, the MMA will subsidize enrollment in the AMA for 4 years. | Exempt |

Corporate Partners | The MMA offers a corporate partner membership program for businesses who have an interest in supporting the mission of the Maine Medical Association. | $1,000 |
