Up, up and away.
- Once we were over the hill, the weather started to improve.
And this is what it looked like on the east side of the island.
A chance encounter
The ferry arrived at Lochcranza and we travelled east.
Near a lovely burn there was this lady grooming her two West Higland White terriers, or Westies as they are also known. There was a time when it was my big wish to own a westy. Now I just said hello to these two cute little guys.
East to West
You know what they say in Scotland, if you don’t like the weather: wait ten minutes. Besides that, there is never any lack of drama in Scotland anyway. So, after yet an one track drive, and a stop for tea, we were back at the west side looking towards the mainland.
Waiting for the ferry to arrive, which was the last one of the day to leave. It had only us and one other car on it.
Looking back to Arran
Back on the mainland the sun came out and gave us some glorious views.
